Kevin is a Research Fellow working with research team for Dr. Yanke and the Cartilage Restoration Center at Rush. He graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in Biomedical Engineering, and he is currently attending medical school at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. As an undergraduate, Kevin was actively involved in basic science and cell culture research, and he was also an active participant in youth mentoring programs through the YMCA. Through his personal experiences with sports injuries in college, he developed a passion for orthopedics and sports medicine. His research interests include biologics, lower extremity motion analysis, and biomechanics. He participates in clinical studies involving the knee and shoulder with a focus on knee osteoarthritis. He also has a strong interest in surgical resident training, including simulation training and assessment tools.
